![]() ![]() | Lundgren M7/X2N7 clip I recently had an M7 and an X2N7 installed in my Septor 727 (Thanks TheMissing and Dendro ) and it sounds wicked. The Lundgren is everything one would expect a Lundgren to be and the X2N is exactly how I imagined it as a neck pickup, punchy and clear and louder than all hell. Both pickups are wired to a coil tap so the setup is pretty versatile too. SoundClick artist: The Black Fist - 21st century killbot I posted some of these riffs not long ago, but this time I slowed them down and changed some things. I'm trying to write a song out of them, but right now it's just riffs lying around gear is 727 in Ab through a Line 6 vetta II into mbox2 into logic 7 express. EZdrummer for drums. I used an amp model I've never found useful before, the Chemical X- and lovingly saved the patch as Djenticle X ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | sounds cool, but kinda... distant somehow... like it´s far away... or filtered... also, drums are really low in the mix. as for the riffing, it´s really cool ![]() -------------------------------------- Æn Æppl Æ Dæi, Kiips De Dåktor Awæi |

(btw the leads are supposed to sound far away, they're mainly there for ambience, not an epic shred section) Thanks for the comment ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | How does the coil tap sound in the middle position? When I had the Lundgren, it was orgasmic! Super glad you like the pickup, I was going to ask you about it today. Any chance you can get a clip of a short lead line with the neck pickup? I'm kinda interested in how that sounds. By itself that is, never heard an X2N in the neck before. Yeah, the Lundgren is already pretty scoopy as it is, and it's pretty sensitive to treble. I don't know if your Vetta has the same things as my TonePort, but the "Chunk chunk" patch with a tube screamer created some pretty sick tones. In any language that you learn to speak -- love is twisted and defined as weak TheMissing's GAScon status: GAScon 4... I'm doing pretty good at the moment. ![]() |

![]() ![]() | I dialed through Chunk Chunk and thought about it but then I found Chemical X and ran with it instead. I'll try Chunk Chunk again and spend more time with it, I do believe that there could be some good tones there The really quiet sweepy thing halfway through is X2N but yeah I'll record some lead doodads alone with it at some point. I've never been good at lead tones, but hopefully it'll make its point. middle position both pickups tapped is pretty nice and jangly but for a go-to clean tone I prefer just the tapped neck. |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Hey man! Clip sounds decent, it's thin though. Hey I recognize this account! I downloaded your JJingle Bells Live songs years ago and put it on a mix CD of a bunch of Heavy metal Christmas songs I got off soundclick. I even played it at a party and at school. A lot of people thought it was pretty damn cool. It's been a few years since I've visited your account. You got some good stuff up there man. |

Awesome riffing and that's some nice tone. When are you using the X2N and when the Lundgren?
