SAKEIDO/BUDDA COLLAB - Slamdeth with vocals!

SoundClick artist: The Budda Project - page with MP3 music downloads

thanks to Cody for letting me do this! I am still brand new to mixing things, I got the vocals as best as i could get them - spent 3 hours doing takes and mixes lol. had to eventually write lyrics, as freestyle didnt work as well as i had hoped.

Let me know what you think! the music is all Sakeido, the vocals is all me..

on a side note, screaming vocals for an entire song isn't easy.. to the guys who do this shit for a living lol

3 cheers for free gear!

the hardest part was keeping consistent volume while recording, and coming up with lyrics lol.

got anything else you want done? haha

later on tonight, i'm gonna see if i cant turn the 1 stereo vox track into 2 mono tracks and pan them center so that the vocals sound more focused and less spaced out. hopefully it can be done, and then i'll update the SC.

hope you guys aren't disappointed when i get around to doing vocals for Codyyy's piece.. damn that's a hard bitch to do

cody, im glad you dig what I did

To be honest, the lyrics could have been anything and I wouldn't have noticed I suck at deciphering lyrics with that style of singing.

The whole thing sounds great though.

Yeah, clarity isnt quite something im good with.. and it was an amature attempt lol. the mic was on my comp desk and i was screaming from 3 feet away haha.

once i get a mic stand and keep mixing stuff, it'll all improve. i think it works for the music though lol.

glad you guys like it

your best bet is to get a pop cover, you can tell you were far away because the vocals sound like they were done in a big room. then to keep consistent after you've mastered it the best you can with your voice you can compress your vocals.
