The latest from Budda!

empty house, a mic, an amp, a laptop. a fine day for recording!

this the 3rd take i did today, and the one with the least amount of noise. It's too fast, it needs some work, but it's the first time i've ever played it haha. the intro riff i came up with a while ago, and just ran with the idea.

I did some tweaking today, and i'm really loving the sound . but audacity doesnt seem to like recording my jsx when it's higher then 1 on the master

SoundClick artist: The Budda Project - page with MP3 music downloads - let me know what you think!

EDIT: the 2nd take (better tone quality, moar clipping ) is uploaded as well

3 cheers for free gear!

The song itself sounds great, I love the atmosphere of it. I can tell that the amp sounds great in a room, has that nice midrange cruch to it, but that clipping is pretty much screwing the whole thing. I hope you get that sorted so I can hear the finished product!

Keep up the good work

thanks man

which one did you listen to, melodic metal or the jsx one?

the metal one (which i updated) is the main one i want feedback on, and the cranked jsx one has the better tone (with br00tal clipping)

SymmetricScars is a jewel in the rough
I really like the tone.

I read all your posts, and they always make GAS for a jsx

Anyways, the riffs were pretty tight too

I'll listen to it later, Justin. The Missus is nagging me to come have breakfast with her.

The metal attempt one sounds good man. I really like it from 44 seconds in onward. Good set of riffs there.

The uberclippin clip, well, that clippin is annoying as all hell. I can hear the potential though, if that counts for anything.

You like The Black Dahlia Murder? I can hear a lot of your riffs in their vain, which is NOT a bad thing.

I don't mind TBDM, gotta get a few more songs *cue stitch getting on msn*.

If i have time in the next few days, i hope to "re-do" the metal attempt one - slow it down, clean up the playing, use a click to try and stay on time. and hopefully i'll find out how to turn up the amp w/o getting uberclip lol

thanks for the words guys
