I recently started to try and finish off tunes that were half finished
So I did this, the song is called state of mind(Imitate the words) not sure on the name yet!

Thanks man! Deftones are a big influence beleive it or not

I use a condenser mic, with some shitty behringer pre amp then add compression reverb etc in cubase

Sounds great! The only thing I really noticed was that the snare seems maybe just a bit loud.

cheers dude, Yeah it is definatly the big chords! I have turned the snare down on this mix, I do tend to have the snare a bit to loud!
