Couple of tracks I've been working on

Hey guys,

Thought I'd throw up a couple of tracks I've been playing with. The drums are obviously sampled (when you listen to it you'll hear it), and I think I lose tightness in a few places, but meh. Its sort of a preview for an upcoming project/band, these two tracks so far being ones that are likely to go towards, with many others I have going towards I reckon.

For the Ex Infinitio one, it is Audix i5 double tracked both sides, with an Audix D6 on each side too to add a layer of depth. The bass is direct in, drums are DFH2 with the Kick and Snare taken from the Andy Sneap Forum. Everythings going thru an M-Audio FW1814 into my Mac Pro, into Protools M Powered.

The rig is an Engl Thunder 50 going thru a Mesa 4x12 with V30's, with a G Major in the loop (most noticeable in the clean section of Ex Infinitio for the middle clean section, which I will probably scrap, just doesn't sound right currently....)

Anyway, enough blabbering

Thanks man

I got an Engl Invader 150 and Engl cab coming in the next couple of months, so I can improve on the guitar tone, but this little Engl doesn't do too bad, I'll be sad to see it go

Sounds great. I look forward to your new project.

Speaking of amps, I forgot to get back to you about that Ashdown.

It's not looking good, I've managed to find too many ways I need to spend money, and I've realised that starting yet an other guitar related project is a bad idea

Thank ya muchly man

Just hit me up at any time about the Ashdown, I may be taking the turn it into a 2x12 route myself, but you've got first call on it before that anyway, so if you ever want it go for it

I just cant wait to get rehearsing this stuff, just waiting for the bassist to come back from Sussex and we should be good to go, it'll be great

damn, If I lived in sheffield, I'd be all over jamming with you guys.
