Crazy new Melodyne function (edit the notes within chords)
"What I have always desired is to break down a chord into single notes and
to individually manipulate each pitch, yet for theoretical reason I thought it would be impossible, but the more I pondered the subject, the more I began to see that what doesn't work in theory can still work in reality." - Peter Neubäcker Basically, they've figured out a means to split apart recorded chords and edit their component notes. The technology is still in its infancy, and sometimes sounds pretty synthetic, but the fact that it's even possible blows me away. It'll be cool to see how this develops over the years.
