Hawkevil has a spectacular aura about
Line 6 Nevermore preset

I've just added a preset to the patch library but I didnt know how things were done around here so I posted it in here too so it could get noticed.

Sevenstring.org - Patch Library - Nevermore Preset - Line 6 Toneport (Might work for

Here is a rough example of what it sounds like:

The sound clip is called Line 6 gearbox tester

face_the_fear | Ultimate-Guitar.Com

Ignore the other stuff its from AGERS ago!

The first riff is Ambivalant by Nevermore and then the rest are just a few I threw together!

There is no post processing on this. This is exactly how it sounds double tracked straight out of gearbox. I did use a tube screamer in front of Gearbox though so if you dont have an overdrive pedal you will have to up the gain.

Tube screamer settings

Drive - off
Tone - Full
Level - Full

I like it but i think it sounds a bit flat and lacks punch, but then again so does Loomis' tone imo, it's only effective with the rest of the band, but you've got it spot on, good work my friend

Yep, It's made from bits of real Panther... so you know it's good.

Thanks for the comments!!

Glad you like it!

I just wish I had the vst version of it so I could use better speaker impulses.

Im gonna get working on a Meshuggah one next I think because I love their tone.

I might also make a 5150 preset because when I was messing around with the Nevermore preset I came across a tone that was quite similar.
