Seems like a pretty nifty little unit. 2 simultaneous tracks, 40 total, takes smartmedia.

Under $200 on ebay too.

i have heard a lot of bad things about mini recording units. tj helmerich did an interview for a website and said you would probably sell them in a year http://www.essentialguitarist.com/in...interview.html. i was thinking about buying one but they are not durable at all and the sound Quality sounds like crap. just my opinion though, guitar center had one so i had a chance to mess with it

...which is perfect, if that's what you're buying it for. If you]re looking for professional-quality demos... I mean, come on, they typically record with mp3 128kbs encoding. that's a joke.

Looks pretty cool. I might grab one. $200 aint a bad deal when you think about everything the little bastard does.

thats the reason i wanted one but then i bought a $2.00 manuscript book and it serves the same purpose

yea, but seeing and hearing aren't quite the same thing...

Ishould work that way myself more often, though, I'm out of practice notating and it'd be good for me.

recording is easier, but if you write it out you wont forget what a passage was or relearn it. i have done that before
