The Crushinator

Guitar is my 1986 Ibanez RG410 with an EMG 85. It's four tracks & two different amp models (Uberschall & Big Bottom). Two are panned hard left/right, & two are 75% left/right at a lower volume level. Tuning is CGCGCE. Yes, I'm sloppy.

Thanks man! I dig Gojira & I'm a MASSIVE dtb fan, so that's high praise indeed to me!

Every time I listen to it, though, I wanna change it. I'm going to remix it a bit, it's too boomy, I'm hearing the chorus progression differently in my head now, I think I want a completely different prechorus, etc etc etc. The only thing I'm totally happy with at this point is the bass guitar.

Ouch! The only thing I know about St Anger is the snare sound sucks, I've never listened to it all the way through. I'll have to youtube it tonight when I get home.

I have ripped off Metallica before, though. One of my clips lifted the verse riff from Master of Puppets in its entirety. I was thinking, "damn, that sounds cool!" & then after listening a bunch of times I went "oh, shit!" :p
