![]() ![]() | I have seen many many people upload music to forums before. I have seen many get slammed for it. This is my first time uploading music for the masses to hear, and im pretty nervous about it. Hopefully it isn't too bad, but if it is, tell me how to make it better, sigh. Enjoy. Still thinking of a bridge and solo and stuff. Let me know what you guys think of both tracks. The link again is: SoundClick artist: Drenzium - page with MP3 music downloads |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | not bad bro, drums are a little too loud, but overall it's a good job, very european sounding! is that just two guitar tracks left and right? if so, try doing another one right down the middle, but with more mid than the two left/right tracks, then whack on some bass and it'll sound huge oh and er.... where are the cymbals? |

![]() ![]() | its 4 tracks, 2 each side. and yeah i thought the drums sounded a bit too loud aswell. what does european exactly sound like? lol. im kind of a metalcore fan, this reminded me so much of The Sound Of Truth by AILD when i wrote it. and i dont have a bass guitar as yet, when i do, it should make people think an earthquakes happening ![]() also im new to programming drums! so no cymbals as of yet i couldn't get them sounding good. and i reckon its better to have none than to have bad sounding ones on my debut, lolLast edited by drenzium; 02-06-2008 at 08:34 AM. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | cool man, well i personally don't like 4 tracks either side, sounds a bit too sludgy but u've done it well. try making 2 of the 4 tracks more central, like one 100%L, one 100%R, one 25%L, one 25%R. that would beef it up a bit, bring it forward a bit more, and make it jump out. Just try it, if u dont like it, turn it back! I'm not a fan of AILD, but i thought it sounded quite Stratovarious, Nightwish, Primal Fear etc, which is what i meant by European |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | i wouldnt say that putting rythm guitar in the middle would be a good idea. for leads yes but not rythm. I dare say im not alone on that one either |

![]() ![]() | yeah for some reason, i didn't want it near the middle. it sounds soooo much better with a bit of panning (also very practical for when theres vocals), and i also think just having things up the middle makes it sound shrill and is a reason why some people complain about pod tone. i think this sounds brilliant for only a podxt. |
