First recording GNX3000/RG350 Tuned to B/my laptop

Found this bomb ass setting on the gnx3000 and found a nice metal drum loop and voila - its kinda weak especially since I havent done that kinda riffing in a while and my forearm was burning up (you could hear me slip through the song).

Any advice/comments = awesome.
Thanks

riffing is good, could clearly use some better drums, but for stock programs, its decent.
theres a bit too much breakup on the distortion, but all in all, good stuff

Reverse Headstocks or Bust

sounds like it could turn out to be a cool song. i like the airy sound of the guitars. its lacking some mids though, and could use less gain.

Mids might be due to the craptacular pickups. These arent even the stock pups in an rg350dx - they are some other shitty ones.

Hmm I will lower the gain a bit.

Nice riffs, little less gain as said before and sometimes alternate picking could be cleaner imo
Nice job

Thixotrope is a jewel in the rough
Ok, I see what you mean. Looking past the deficiency in pickup quality, the tone does cut thtough pretty well. Nice headbanging riffage going on there too. The guitar sound could have more "meat". Which coincidentally is what I'm looking for

Keep up the good work!
