im with ya on that one
the snare can sound "bigger" and have more of a punch

but then again
this song is fuckin great
i aint complaining, just constructive criticism

EDIT: ok i take it back, THAT^ was before listening to the whole thing
and now after listening to it... the solo is fucking EPIC
it wasnt some boring background riff during the solo, it got fuckin HEAVY on that part

sick song man

Yeah, the rhythm tracks do sound quite LoG-ish :P Good job, though!

while it doesen´t sound too thick or fat, i have to say, it sounds fucking amazingly clean and clear... there is NO mud in this recording, is there? :P

rhythm guitars could be sliiiightly louder, and there should be more low end in the mix... give the kick some balls around 75 Hz, give the bass a little more lows, and liven up that snare a little, and that´s all you need to do... and don´t go crazy with any of these either, just be gentle with it :P

Thanks for listening guys, your criticism is much appreciated!

I know what you mean about the kick, I do however like that kind of snare sound but I'll certainly play around with it a bit more.
Also the "heavyness" is perhaps a bit lacking because my bass is in desperate need of new strings, and its a bit lower in the mix than it probably should be.

I'll see what I can do, cheers!

btw, I don't mind a bit of Lamb of God!

Dude... This song totally kicks ass! Love the riffage. Sounds like your working in the 5th mode of G harm minor in the solo, and it showed some great note choice, giving a nice "middle-east/foreign" sound. To me I thought it really told a story and had great direction... You need to get this music out to as many people as you can

Welcome Dylan.

I really liked this especially the lead.

Is there any chance I could get the patch for the lead tone off you?

JKO is on a distinguished road
Very nice riffage there! Cool tone too, especially the one that occurs while chugging at around ~0:42 - very metallic (for lack of a better word)!

If I could add anything, it would be to maybe throw in a part in a key other than D. Now the whole song is basically in D. Perhaps switch it up and go to G when the solo kicks it in at ~2:51?

This was AWESOME! Blew me away around 2:50ish with due to the bad a$$ double bass riff.

Thats a freakin awesome song!
