![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Seed decided to rerecord his 'muscle corn' song. (BETTER MIX) wow... took me forever. And Im still not crazy about the outcome. Some sloppy playing and som transgressions here and there that are kinda weird. but it sounds A LOT better and this version has some bass in it too! I hope you guys like this crushing proggy tune! Any comments are welcome, but some stuff needs to be fixed and they are so obvious that you don't have to comment on them. But any criticism on the mix is welcome!I just realized that in a certain part of the song the soundclick version has a hihat that is "squealing".... ugh... Its got me masturbating so furiously I'm pretty much punching myself in the groin." -JJ Rodriguez Last edited by Seedawakener; 11-28-2007 at 07:04 PM. Reason: ugh |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Thx guys! I need to add keyboards to this later on, more than that one pad. I was hoping to get a few more replies, though, so I'm bumping this! ![]() |

At the moment adding keys will really bury the guitars and turn that low mid/lows into mush from what I can tell. Make them cut a lot more. Heavy will come from the bass being mixed in, and the keys will swallow up a hell of low frequencies and low mids if you are not carefull. Otherwise it sounds cool |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Wow... Im using the Bulb PODxt preset (Slightly modified, but still tons of mids) with a TS7 in front. I don't get how there could be so little mids... I'm gonna have to try to EQ the guitar just a bit then. About the keyboards. Our band is supposed to have a keyboardist so I'll HAVE to add keyboards later on. I hope to find a keyboardist who can write what to play himself or at least one who is a bit independent! Will be kinda hard to find a keyboardist at all, though. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | yeah, it's just that the guitar is getting lost with the drums and cymbals, so maybe it's a casing of bringing the guitars up in the mix (or just bringing the drums down) |
