Bulb/Periphery update!! New Singer!! New Clip of said singer!!

Sup dudes and dudettes!

So we have had to part ways with Jake Veredika due to some personal reasons, but we found an AMAZING singer in the process.
Casey Sabol is his name, and you can hear some vocals he laid over the latest Juggernaut clip i posted over on the myspace site.
Anyways we are all really stoked and we cant wait to see what he is going to come up with for all the other songs! (as Jake requested that we dont use his lyrics or vocals on the songs)

Sounds like you took the old singer out of that Icarus tune. Shame, he sounded great. I think that song is/was just fantastic.

yeah Jake asked us to take his vocals off of all the old tunes, but now its actually a good thing cuz Casey can really go nuts with the song and make the most of it now!

Sucks about the parting with Jake and not being able to use any of his lyrics, etc.

But I'm sure you guys will soldier on and create something awesome. New singer has a cool voice. I like the mellow singing too. Some people might hate it, but I think it's fucking cool.

After listening again with headphones, I gotta say I'm loving the new singer's voice. Amazing.

Very unique and powerful. Killer work with the harmonies and the contrast between sections. It's awesome to hear this heavy music with melodic vocals overtop and having it actually work. It adds an almost spacy feel to it, almost like Devin Townsend's recent solo work. Not like he actually sounds like Devin Townsend, but the contrast between his vocals and the music creates a similar feel to me. Amazing.

Basically, he's doing with his vocals what you're doing with your clean parts.

I mean, I'm going to miss Jake's parts on some of the old songs, but I'm excited as fuck to hear what this guy can do.

I'm digging this guy far more than the last one. Mostly because with the last guy, the balance between screaming/singing was heavily skewed to screaming. With this guy, it's heavily skewed to singing.

Much better.

Yeah, I just saw the Myspace bulletin, heard the song, and came straight here.

Jake was awesome as hell, but I'm really excited to hear what this new guy is going to be able to do. I quit at life. I just quit.
