Guitar Rig 2. tone test (djent)

totally non-musical Djent tone test. since my podxt died () i gotta use this until i can afford to get something else. probably an ENGL e530 to go with my rack shtuff. came up with this tone really quick, and added a basic drum track to test it in a quick mix, so no bass. so, whatcha think?

its kinda noisy since i didn't add a noise gate to it yet, rofl.

That's not half bad at all for GR2, actually.

Wow, that actually sounds really good. I think it's at least, IMO, equal to Bulb's tone. Maybe better.

Surprise surprise! Nice work.

Sounds pretty thin to my ears, but that's probably the lack of bass. Also too springy. Very un-aggressive.

With the exception of the harmonic overtones coming from bulbs rig, this sounds pretty similar. I would say dont worry about getting another pod with the quality that you are getting from this.

The best tone I've heard anyone get out of GR2. What's annoying is you can't get the background "crackle" away no matter what you do.
