MrJack is a jewel in the rough
As far as I know it's not really a possibility to get it away. My guess is that the distortion picks up some kind of weak background signal, since it's there even when not playing anything and GR2 shouldn't be getting a signal at all.

oh whoa. sweet dudes, thanks! i found out how to kill the crackle! and add some warmth to it. oh yeah, i got some new gear! an Alesis multimix 8. good mixer! im suprised, the latency is super low, i can pound out some riffs with guitar rig and there isn't any noticable latency. the channel pre's are nice too. i'll post the new and better patch as soon as i found out how to export them, rofl.

Sounds good, but that "crackle" would drive me nuts.

Eh, I disagree with the naysayers. I think it's an absolutely fantastic tone. One of the best I've heard. I prefer it to Bulb's 'djent' tone, to be honest, and agree with AngelVivaldi 100%. Very unique, very interesting musically. I'm listening to it through my Sony MDRs, BTW, so I'm getting a good reference.

"Face melting", I like that.

yea, kinda reminds me of Fear Factory but with a lot more BITE. This is why I love Line 6 stuff lol. Line 6 stuff can get a bit muddy depending on the power amp and presets ya use. But that tone is great.

Now how do we get that tone out of a head hahaha

i posted the tone above, rofl. Bulb's tone is better, but shit, he's the almighty djentalman. i changed it some, i used the orange cab sim, rofl. the preamp in my mixer probably adds to the color. overall, im satisfied with recording with this until i get my engl.

I like the sound. But I hear that digital sound, that I cannot say how it is, but it sounds amazing =.

sounds more cold and mechanical (in a kind of menacing way) than the average djent tone. I'm not too much into that kind of tone, but its good for that style.

Glory and praise to Thee, Satan, on high,
Where Thou didst reign, in Hell where Thou dost lie,
Vanquished, silent, dreaming eternally.
Grant that my soul some day rest close to Thee
Under the Tree of Knowledge which shall spread
Its branches like a Temple overhead.
