I got given some mics. pics included.

Over the years I have given my Dad a lot of financial assistance, I am also storing some of his things in my shed.

The last time he came over to stay he told me that I can have his microphones that are in my shed. So I went and had a look at what is there and found these, a AKG D12E, a Sennheiser MD421-U-5 and two made in USA Unidyne III SM57s.

I do not know if they all work yet and they have had a hard life, the MD421 has a dented grill and the AKG has some corrosion (I have no need for this one anyway), but I am pretty stoked with the find.

There are still a few more hiding amongst his stuff, I just don't have the time to go looking at the moment.

FOR SALE
RG2127
RG7EXFX2
Pod X3 Live
Boss MT-2
Possibly my RG2027

If you have a CST to sell now is the time because I am possibly about to be very broke for a long time

Dude! 421's rule! Try micing drums or your guitar with it. The D12E is great for bass amps or kick drum. You can never have too many mics. It's like saying you have too many colors in your crayon box.

If electricity comes from electrons, does morality come from morons?

Thanks.

It will be a while before I mic my guitar, but I am looking forward to using the 421 for vocals. I can't see a use for the D12E unless I get a bass one day as I don't have or play drums but who knows I might be in a band one day.
