Very nice, Bulby. @Ryan - I think he uses a Drop Ab tuning for newer stuff, Drop A for some older stuff, Drop C on sixes, and I think F standard for 8-string stuff.

As usual awesome shit! I love listening to your stuff.
Man this has me wanting to retune my guitar to drop A flat standard B tuning just isn't really doing it for me anymore I want more Djent!

BTW if I may what string gauges are you using for your top 3 strings? Not sure on the E and A string but I'm pretty sure I'm using a .60 for the B string.

Gotta love the Djent!!!

Ah, the suffering. The sweet suffering.

My one standard tuned 7 really needs to go to drop A. Is there really a huge difference between drop A and drop Ab? I assume drop Ab is in "Drop D" format so it would be Ab Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb?

Well keep in mind that thinner strings = more djent, my petrucci is strung 9-54 and tuned to drop Ab to maximize that haha.

Not a huge difference like "oh my gawd it sounds 23987 times heavier, but its a nice touch and i like it cuz its the lowest note for me that still sounds good with a powerchord, any lower and you start to lose the powerchord sound....
and yeah those are the correct notes!
