NEW MELODIC AND HEAVY BULB/PERIPHERY SONG! (podxt, dfhs, carvin h2)

Hey guys sorry to crowd the recording section, i thought the other threads had died by now, but i have a new cool songclip that im actually proud of for a change yay!!

So i know i should be working on the ep, but godamn how i hate rerecording songsand how i love creating something new, so i bring you this, its definitely very different, and its not really finished, this song when its done will contain "though" from the soundclick page when its complete, and although its on the tougher side technically (at least for me...) i am planning on making this a periphery song yay!

Anyways enough of my babbling, here ya go:

http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page...?bandID=147108 (first song on the list, called "insomnia"

or a direct link:
http://www.soundclick.com/util/getpl...d=5070411&q=hi

Now i havent really mixed it, cuz i have been tracking for so long that i dont know whats what anymore, so im just hoping that everything sounds decent enough, i guess i will find out tomorrow after work...
I used the podxt for guitar and bass (but this time i went for a nice fat round bass sound cuz of the more "notey" riffs) And i used my Carvin H2 6 string (tuned to drop C) for the guitars and dfhs for the drums of course haha!

Enjoy!

Bulb, you are by far my favorite musician. Your music is the sound I've been wanting to hear for decades. Thank you.

Definitely something fresh

Not a HUGE fan of the POD tone<--i'd like to hear that ENGL ; but it's definitely the best POD tone i've ever heard. The cleans sound incredible; very ambient and the contrast around the 2:30 mark sounds incredible.

Love your work dude! No lie, i get on your soundclick page like every day and listen to your stuff.

It would be nice if you could share your process/techniques in songwriting and recording than just getting praises all the time. It's not that I'm being sour or anything just maybe it could help others like me learn something.

It is not for us to question the bulb. The bulb is. The bulb was. The bulb shall ever be.

Well, no offense, I think if we have that kind of mindset going, then this forum would be a bulb's greatest songs forum. I do hope that bulb is indeed as open as he is great.
