![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Check out my new tune! It's been about a year or so since I posted a song on here, and I'm happy enough with this latest one to feel confident enough to post one for you guys . There's a lot more top quality players and recordings on here than last time so it's a lot more intimidating now! ![]() Anyhow, the song is called "Omnipotence", and I set up a soundclick site because the quality sucks on myspace ![]() Here's the link straight to the song's page: Soundclick.com It's more of an idea type song than a finished product. It'll have vocals and more sections etc. when I get around to working it into a full song for my band. Don't expect any super shredding on this, because I'm not a great lead player (yet ). I'm not too sure about the little lead in the middle, so I might scrap that. Anyway, guitars were done with my 7620 w/Tonezone 7 into my PodXTpro direct into an Mbox2, with DKFHS for drums (which I got 2 weeks ago and couldn't be happier with ), bass is pitch shifted guitar and synths are some random soundfonts I found on the internet, so they're not top quality. Mixed on Beyerdynamic DT770 headphones, so I dunno how great the mix is. I was really surprised with the tone I got from the pod, considering I hated the Tonezone before ![]() Anyway, enough talking. Constructive criticism is greatly appreciated, and I hope ya'll enjoy the song! ![]() |

![]() | Kicks ass. Fucking awesome song man. I love the ambient feel the keyboard samples put into it. I think it makes it sound more epic. Keep up the good work. ![]() After listening to the song over and over, I noticed something. The ending kind of just drops off. It need to have some sort of finale. ![]() ![]() ![]() | Fuckin' superb stuff, Ben! Has an SYL vibe to it, in a cool way. When completed to an entire song then I'd imagine it'll be an album highlight. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Sounds great! Guitars sound real meaty, just the way I like it.The choir sounds really give it a cool vibe. The lead is pretty cool. I agree that you need a proper ending for it. Through the darkness of futures past The magician longs to see One chants out between two worlds Fire Walk With Me |

![]() ![]() | Wow that sounds great man! I like the guitar tone too, and agree that it has a little of an SYL vibe to it ![]() I too think it needs a good ending, its kinda building up to something towards the end there. Good stuff! |

I'm very surprised at how good the TZ7 sounds there, I never managed to get on with it. Needs some kind of craziness to explode at the end there I think. |
