Mix test -original LOG, Amon Armoth, and Opeth sounding - criticizing welcome

Not mixed yet, but need to know if on the right path and any tips would help me out greatly! Hope yall enjoy! Made this in about an hour tops!

Guitars are HD500
Bass is TSE BOD
Drums are Superior with C2Aye's preset tweaked a little bit.

Nah it doesn't sound bad...hard to get critiques around here. I think the lead guitar has too much reverb/delay. Not sitting in the mix as well as it could. That is where I would start.

Sounds good! It seems like the heavy background guitar has a bit too much bass to it. I feel like this guitar should have almost no bass frequencies, and then you want a nice bass track sitting right in the middle and not panned. Seems a little muddy with so much bass panned left and right.
