how did you record this? it sounds really thin/tinny, like you recorded via your cellphone's mic. not trying to be negative, it just didn't sound like a proper recording to me.

I have recorded with a cell phone mic a few times actually and it kinda sounds better then this? I think you need to boost the guitar in the mix definitely.
Buy way of the tone, I like it, maybe push the amp a bit more to get rid of some of the thin sound you have? (if you used an amp?)

First one sounded better, this is too tinny and trebly. Are you going for the lo-fi sound, or is that from something else?

no, i'd actually like it to sound good. my equipment isn't wonderful, and i'm having to use an app and an irig to record everything. i know it's not going to turn out awesome, but i'm sure if i experiment enough with it i can make it turn out pretty cool.

i actually scrapped everything and started over on this one last night.

Yeah I'm not trying to be a douche I'd suggest trying to get a used Toneport GX or something, pretty cheap, and should make recording muuuuuuuuch easier

oh i know, unfortunately new gear isn't in the budget right now so i'm just doing these as demos for fun. i've never recorded anything at home by myself like this, or without some sort of quality recording equipment so this is all a bunch of trial and error/guess and check stuff.

i must say though, it is pretty cool that i can do all of this with some crappy gear and a phone.

Yeah, for a phone, this is really good. Just keep tweaking it and you should be able to get something good. Considering how Ola did this with JamUp Pro, you should be able to get some awesome tones
