All you mastering genius folk

Alright, rip me to shreds, do your worst. I won't take offence, I'm asking for it. I'm using good ol Ozone for this. A bit Contortionistesk I'd say but please take a listen. Oh yes and your also allowed to say nice things as well if this song doesn't make your ears bleed haha well here it is.

The song is sick.

Much better than your other master too!

It's generally overall a little fatiguing still. I would say maybe look into K-system metering. It might help you get a visual idea of how loud your whole mix is.

Im a super chill mellow ambient slut. --7 STRINGS OF HATE

I'm sorry you think I'm always mean.

I'm just honest is all

Quote:
The K-System is a protocol for setting mix and monitor calibrations in a studio environment. Introduced by mastering engineer Bob Katz in 1999, the system is an attempt to standardize leveling practices throughout the audio industry. It uses three separate standards known as K-20, K-14, and K-12. With each step (K-20, K-14, K-12 respectively), the available dynamic range decreases as the average level increases. This versatility allows the K-System to accommodate a wide range of audio material and mediums.

http://www.aes.org/technical/documen...s.cfm?docID=65

That's the original article on K-system metering.

You should read Bob Katz' book "Mastering Audio"

I don't really have anything to say about mastering, but in my opinion, the kick lacks balls. It's all klick, no real low end on there.

Anyway, the music is kickass as always.
