4front bass problem

I'm using 4front bass in Reaper with a midi file I exported from Guitar Pro. The problem is, the part is for a 5 string bass. For some reason 4front bass won't play any note lower than E and I need it to go down to B. Everything plays fine except for that low B string. Thanks!

Just for the time being put it in a higher octave, record the bass part transpose it down an octave ?

Thought about that, but that wouldn't be much better than what I've been doing up 'til now, which is pitch-shifted guitar. Unless I'm misunderstanding you.

You need to transpose the track an octave up, because that's how 4frontbass works for some reason xD

edit: what I meant is that if you have an E (lowest note on a regular bass), you need to transpose the note one octave higher to have the same E as before, 4frontbass can surely get as low as A, maybe even lower.
