Really unpleasant Fast Track Ultra problem
My M-Audio Fast Track Ultra began presenting a little problem.
Every now and then it suddenly goes "phase out" for like 1.5 seconds or so, becoming silent during that period of time. I did not bug me until i was recording and saw that it was not just a temporary freeze due to many open programs. When recording, it goes like this... M audio problem by Sasha Garcia on SoundCloud - Create, record and share your sounds for free Here itīs how the little bug looks closely...like little dreadful stalagmites of evil. ![]() Any opinions? Thanks! |

some kind of driver polling thing? try turning off your internet/ethernet/wi-fi if that's on... also try running the DPC latency checker, more info is here - Forum - Main Forums : PC Music

Asio4all is a driver built to work with all the asio interfaces, but you should just use the asio driver that came with your fast track, you can download it here: M-AUDIO - Drivers and Software Search

deffo, some drivers are rubbish, and asio4all can work better (it actually wraps the WDM drivers to make them appear as ASIO), but M-Audio's own are fine.
