Djent Tone for Reaper w/ Revavler or GR5
I'm not too familiar with creating the djent tone, I know there's a lot more intense filtering and whatnot to get it to sound good. Maybe someone could help guide me?
I have Poulin, SimulAnalog, TSE and other plugins, with a few impluses from GuitarHacks and stuff. I've just never been good at making a tone or knowing exactly what I need for Djent. I can do death metal but Djent, I don't know the extreme's of all that goes into the tone. Update: Made a random tune up and played with the best tone I've combined. http://soundcloud.com/paul-lucian-ch...e-test-1-djent |

Sounds pretty djenty to me. Lower the high's a smidge, it sounds a little hissy.
Not bad though. ![]() My YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/RyanEnvy Bands covered include Textures, Scale the Summit, KSE, Red Seas Fire, August Burns Red, The Contortionist, As I Lay Dying, etc. |
