Latest axefx2 clip. Need critics on the mix.
I like to think this is my best mix to date so far. It's a song from a local band I recorded (I recorded this exact song about 1 month or so ago) but it didn't sound as good as this one does.

nice. not too much bass though IMO that may be my speakers tho, and the last solo the fast alternate picking part sounds too big IMO the delay or what not. awesome mix tho

yeah, I found the last solo a bit loud and overwhelming aswell but, I thought maybe my ears were getting tired and wanted a second opinions
 I hear a good amount of bass in my headphones however |

relistened with my phones, bass isnt too bad a little low all around maybe drums low?, the leads sound even louder in my phones even on the first solo sounds like the rhythm and lead are fighting to stay in the middle
very good mix though.EDIT: the drums just seem very low compared to the bass guitar an everything the cymbals sound good besides the hats seem low to me. the leads definitely seem overwhelming at higher listening volume lower isnt so bad. fatiguing higher tho. smooth transactions with: djpharoah, bob123, Sevenstringer, Jolo5150, kfiggy If you're gonna "Thank me" then Thank (post) me, or give rep "With the amount of flak I've been receiving lately, i may just keep this post to myself!" |

It sounds pretty good overall. The guitars sound nice and there seems to be an adequate amount of low end. The drums are a little strange in parts. During the blast beat sections, the drums dominate the mix. The mix could also use some more hi-hat. But overall, the mix sounds pretty good.
