NMD!!! (Tannoy Reveal 501a)

So today i received a package....

So now i have big boy speakers...

so far i like what i hear. i've also heard that monitors tend to sound better when broken in or burned in or something of that sort.

Any Advice?

they sound pretty lovely too. also make everything i've made thus far sound like shit. but then again its why we improve lol. i was mixing everything with ATH M40whatevers' then my buddy ryan gave me his Dt 770 pro's which were light years beyond. now i have these.

i like upgrades.

Very nice. Make sure they're not too close to the wall though.

Alright heres the first thing i've recorded with these guys.

guitar tone and everything was made listening through these. I think it turned out alright. needs work but for a first mix im kinda happy. take some getting used to since all i've done for years was mix on headphones.

tell me what you think

yea i agree. still trying to figure out if i like working within SD or outside. but i'll tweak that more in the next thing i record. i wanted a little more highs in the guitars cause i realized i took some out. so heres how it sounds now.
