![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Recording Programs Hey guys i have Line6 Rifftracker but i need to register it first by use of the internet, but i don't have internet access on my computer yet. I already find it limiting as you only get prerecorded drum tracks and you can't create your own. So i was considering buying Drumkit From Hell. Do any of you use it? if so, what software do you use to record the guitars? What other programs should i look into that won't cost me an arm an leg? |

Yeh i use Drum Kit From Hell. Great program. As for an overall sequencer, something like Cubase SE (which can be picked up from soundcontrol for around 99quid) would be a start.

both superior and ezdrummer really get the shits being run in sonar for some reason - which is a shame - because sonar is actually quite awesome. My parrot will kick your ass

![]() | I hear you. I absolutely love Sonar. The only feature it doesn't have that I wish it would is the ability to group MIDO sequences (the way you can in Reason). I think they believe that groove clips achieve the same functionality, but it doesn't. For audio, editing audio and applying effects, etc, it's unbelievably easy. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Would Cubase SE3 be ok for what i want to do ? or should i spent £200 more and get the Cubase 4 Studio? Bear in mind, i just want to record guitar and bass and be able to use drum tracks from Drumkit from hell. |

![]() ![]() | Find a student and use them to go get the students discount for Studio 4 - I just used my copy of Logic to get a crossgrade version of it for a whopping 200. The only difference between Cubase 4 and Cubase 4 Studio are some plugins that come stock with it, a special panning feature on stereo tracks, lack of that extra control room crap, no 5.1 mixing option, and limited to 128 ( ) physical ins/outs.Definitely go with Cubase - I've not found a more intuitive, easy to use program. I just sold my copy of Logic and can't wait for this to get set up again! |
