Thumbs up December 11 - epic/heavy/groovy/orchestral/dare i say it... djenty (SD2.0/Lepou)

hey guyzzz

havent posted anything in a while, wrote/recorded this riff just now in a couple of hours and then added some strings to it for the luls. not sure where i'm going with it (although it may end up being used for an epic interweb-supergroup i am forming )

its superior 2.0 for drums, lepou legion for guitars and kontakt 4 for strings.

enjoy, critique etc

These riffs are insane, so good.

Ever noticed how some people are real dicks on the internet, but when they post something involving their band, they make the effort to be nice? Funny that...

I'm actually right at the moment recording a midi track from my SM57 snare feed to blend some superior samples to my mix. It's a recording for our song 'Firth' that we're also shooting a video for. Should be done before Christmas. They're also not the best sounds since my micing setup is not complete yet, but it'll be real nice.

Also if you dont mind me asking, what mastering program/s did you use with superior it sounds legit. Im into home recording myself and I use superior as well so im just super interested in what other people use along side of it.

after a bit of tweaking within superior (comp/EQ/transients), i just use the stock Logic plugins for further compression/EQ/reverb. if you're not already i recommend using Superior in multi-out mode so you can further tweak each part of the kit in your DAW
