First, thank you VERY much Drew. Dude took the time to completely set up my UV last night, and then came up today with his bass and a spare UV in the event that I needed 'em.

So some pics. I really need to fix my fuckin' camera.

It's time to play "I wonder what mode Chris's camera is stuck in!"

Yeah, they're all kind of odd, I think it might be in macro mode, but the LCD is cracked so I've no idea.

Something I haven't been able to say in awhile, here's all my gear in my car:

Where I spent most of my day:

I think I'm like, pickin' my nose.

And the drink we got at the restraunt afterwards. We didn't use straws, because that would look gay.

Another video, me coming into the riff I'm working on in the first one. My amp is cranked up in the mic'd room next to me, and Drew's on the couch filming, so really all you hear is the drum monitor.

Good to see they have such confidence in me.

Studio guy: "If he can get through that, I'll be amazed"
Drew: "He's got it if he doesn't start laughing"

That polka-beat will be gone, it's just a placeholder to keep me in time. You can also now hear my absurdly heavy picking hand.

Looooooooooooooooooooooooooong way to go before the track's done, heh. Rearranging it with a real drummer and not having to deal with sterile pre-programmed drums is going to be a long ordeal, but worth it in the end. The session guy had some killer ideas that really bring parts of the song to life.
