This NEVER happens to me, and it totally did when listening to your song. It's beautiful and cinematic but I'm going to describe it like a nine year old because I don't know how else to.

I imagined this whole story of some young prince kid, and a bunch of barbarians slaughter his father in slow motion, and at :25 his mentor guy is like "Hey, pick your chin up I'm going to train you to be the most badass king ever." and then he has a super montage of learning swordplay and becoming stronger in every way possible. At 1:45 he's grown up and running his kingdom, which is good and all, but he still constantly ponders the death of his father and his dark wishes for revenge. 2:40 he gets his supplies together and travels out into the wilderness to go kick some barbarian ass. 3:12 he rolls some ....ing heads. 3:30 he rests on a tree stump staring at the blood on his hands, thinking. 4:17 he's on the road again, with a new found belief in himself. 4:44 wilderness terrain travel montage. 5:38 he begins to scale the summit of a mountain, super cool rock climbing montage. 6:04 he overlooks a view of the entire world he knows. Every beautiful memory he's had returns to him, and with it, the death of his father. 6:58 on the road again. 8:22 He kills like a MILLION guys, all in slow motion and really cool because he's so tough with his sword. Presumably the king of the bad guys is 300 kicked off a super mountain and impaled on a bunch of stuff. And our king closes his eyes, takes a knee with his sword, and dies from all his wounds he got when he was killing everyone.

So yeah. That's what it made me think of.

thanks larcher! i used the pod xt with the diamondplate amp, 4x12 brit t75s cab, and screamer. i eqed it to make it clearer and remove the fizz from the pod. i also used the waves s1-imager vst on it. the guitar i used was an esp ltd h-207 with an emg 81-7 in the bridge position.
