Dimarzio X2N7 Clip II: Return of teh Clipness

I re-recorded the X2N7 clip i made a bit ago. I made it a little longer and added some faster parts. I was inspired by some new mastering software i got my hands on. So now the stuff im making is sounding so much more final, fatter, and louder of course!

This clip contains some serious tweakage of the PODxt, and a tubescreamer. I think it has less of that digital tone now. Let me know what you guys think!

I think the greater effect here is eq and compressionon the guitars. Which makes it sounds this way.

I used the Waves Diamond bundle. It has a lot of good compressors and EQs (as jason said), and a maximizer that owns me.

Dist:
Spinal Puppet
4x12 v30s
57 on axis
Drv 50%
Bass 40%
Mid 35%
Treb 60%
Pres 80%
I also have a TS808 before the XT. Makes the djentyness hotter. The clean is just the Jazz Clean model tweaked for more bass and less mid.
