I didn't turn on my noisegate for this clip so you might hear a little monitor fuzz in between hehe. Its Treadplate Dual, with Tubescreamer, and a pinch of EQ, 57 on axis |

It's definitely a PODxt - there's just no substitute for a mic'd amp, but the POD does a killer job of demo stuff and whatnot.

Ah yes - now we have the problem!
If anything wants to make me tear out my wisdom teeth by the roots and shove them into my eyes it is fiddling with the damn Line 6 trying to get "just the right tone". Suggest you get it "close enough" and try it with your band / friends / slaves / girlfriend and see what happens. Less is more - as I always say - in specific areas. When you are playing out or in the studio with a band remember if you are doing rhythm (like i love to do) you have to leave sonic "room" for the lead, bass guy and maybe a second rhythm part. So you can't be too "huge". I found when I came to grips with that that my tone was much more workable, and not going so hard towards the edge. Of course if you are wearing a black utilikilt on stage and trying to make sure the bagpipes cut through the mix your are screwed, but then I think that is my own private hell. http://www.utilikilt.com/  |
