I'm actually hell proud of this, I've been fooling around with Pro Tools for about 7 months now, this is my best mix evar. ![]() Let me know what you think, discerning listeners of SS. |

Sounds pretty decent. The guitar tone is kinda dark for my taste.

Dude, .... yeah.
This is tight. The kick needs more beef/presence/clickyness/something to make it stand out...it gets lost. BUT, I love the song man. Nice shredding, and nice rhythm tone

i heard no djent, but that's not what we're arguing here.
\the drum kit feels really loose, mostly around the snare, and the overheads. the overheads feel like they have a shit ton of unnecessary high end on them. and your left guitar feels a little louder/clearer than your right. the snare just needs more beef, it feels so small and weak. overall , GREAT ideas going on, but the mix needs some more grit and low end snare, for sure. as some asvice as a starting point, on the cymbals, i would raise around maybe 5k, and gently slope everything after that to maybe 0db. give it a try and see if it doesnt fee la little more organic.
