I've recorded something decent at last.

Well, I'm fairly new to the whole recording deal, and basically I've really just been playing around with Audacity trying to get to grips with it. But I feel like I've finally recorded something that sounds decent, and actually sounds like something that isn't just me fucking around with some scales.

Listen to the "Clean" sample, and ignore the others. The other clips really are just me fucking about, and they don't sound good at all. They're going to be removed pretty soon, so once I've got something better to replace them, they'll be gone.

All I'm using is my baby plugged into my Roland Microcube, JC Clean channel, using the line out straight into the PC to record. So don't go expecting Andy Sneap quality recording here, I'm just a complete newb. I think I got the levels just right, and it's also a decent example of the kind of thing I'm writing.

Anyway, I'm pretty happy with myself for once.

Thoughts?

Hey great stuff man I really like it. It reminds me of myself if you don't mind me saying so. The band I am in right now is called wicked me they are more of a heavy rock style but I record my ownstuff it is more progressive thrash death metal type style. They might start leaning my way when they hear what I got for 'em. But anyway if you want to check it out its wickedme.com then you can link to me or wicked me on my space also.

I was thinking more interlude, but it's not been written into anything yet.

I meant more building on it to create a song as opposed to an intro
