Recording's a bit rough as you said, but I definately dig it.

Overall, nice song structure. It keeps moving and brings you right along with it. Keep up the good work.

Can't say I've ever heard of him. I can't really place a direct musical influence on the song. That might be becuase I have it in an open tuning (EAEEBE)

Finally listened to this.

It's pretty - I found myself jamming along pretty quickly, and I think I worked out the main riff in standard.

My advice would be to add a contrasting section to this, though. It's very drone-y in an appealing sort of way (and I'm all about that stuff), but I think as a song it'd hang together better if it moved in a different direction partway through or something.
