For you home-recording guys, what DirectX or VST plugins do you use regularly? I'm quite partial to Waves myself, and I love the stock compressor that comes with Cool Edit Pro.

Waves Reverb and Waves MaxxBass are my absolute favorite plugins. Better than TC reverb and the MaxxBass really rounds out the bottom of my recordings.

Ive been messing with a BBE sonic maximizer plug in I "acquired"....

good choice the PT bundle has made it's money back from me..I also like ANATARES tuning stuff and Mic Modeling...I enjoy the BBE and pretty much always have it on....wish..Peaveys KOSMOS would be a plug in but I have to go Out board for that right now...I also am testing Damage Control Engineering Plug- ins they too are amazing and will be top notch maybe even better then AMP FARM.....we ill see
