You have an Intel Mac? How do you like it? I haven't had a chance to try one yet. I've got an iBook G4 running Pro Tools 6.9 so there's no point in me downloading the Intel version. I still haven't upgraded to 7 yet.

I'm not sure we have many Mac/Pro Tools users on here, much less ones with Intel processors.

I only got it recently. My dad made a trip to the states so i thought i should get one then. So far its been great. I just a little test now and the CPU usage was going at around 20% on a big session ( 45mins of audio ) with quite a few plugins, so im happy with it.

Otherwise im just waiting for other software to come out which im waiting for like DFH.

I'll leave some more feedback when i get a chance.

Did you ever get the DVD by the way?

I played with a MacBook today; very very impressed. I can't stand Logic though! I'd stick with Tracktion if I ever got one.

Not so far...which is kinda odd now I think of it

Cool to hear that the MacBooks run PT well. I'll be adding another gig of RAM to my iBook soon-ish to help it's plugin handling power.

It sucks that literally all the software I'd run isn't coded for Intel's yet, but I don't mind.

Next month brings a 15" Powerbook @ 1.67Ghz and 2GB of RAM. \m/
