you know that's ....ed up. and i've noticed that in situations like that it only takes ONE person for something to be done about it.

i was at a bar the other day (we go there because there's usually a live band and i like to check out the local talent) and there were these two people dancing out on the dance floor. seemed innocent at first. then he starts kissing her on her neck. i thought "ehh... she doesn't look too bothered" by it... well not at first.

suddenly she starts trying to get away from him. so much so that it looks like she's trying to limbo...

and this douche has his arms wrapped firmly around her waist leaning with her continuing to try to force himself on her. as she desperately signals for her friend to come help her who, by the way, is sitting at a table havin' a beer texting.

i stood up cuz i figured... this is ....in' bullshit no one is doing anything. as soon as i took a couple steps i noticed four other people suddently decided to get up. one of em got to him before me and basically choke slammed that ....er out the door.

I have to agree, that was a seriously sick story. Granted, when a shooting happened in and around where I lived, no one EVER saw a thing, including the cop who lived on the second floor...

People need to start standing up about shit like this. Obviously these kids aren't saying anything because they don't want the gangs to find out it was them, because you can bet if there was a $20,000 reward on the line to catch a non-gang member, people would be talking. You just can't let people walk all over you like that, it's bullshit. I wish everybody would take a step back and think "what would I want to happen if I was being viciously attacked and raped? Would I want people to watch? Or would I want help?" KJ's story is one of many examples that I have heard where everybody is watching until the first person decides that enough is enough, other people will usually help out, it's mob mentality. I just wish people weren't so selfish when it comes to this, you see videos of people just walking past beatings all the time. We're all humans, we're all part of the same family, we should act like it.
