Clinton's latest stupid argument

Clinton camp: We're within 'striking distance' of popular vote - CNN.com

I suppose I am the only one that noticed that this completely discounts the caucuses, of which Obama won all but one.

Because being down somewhere to the tune of 500,000 in the popular vote is SO close to winning. Come on, give me a break.

Gotta love how the popular vote only matters when the other voting bodies turn against you...

...AND includes Florida AND Michigan, where Obama didn't campaign and in the later case wasn't even on the ballot.

RealClearPolitics - 2008 Elections - Democratic Vote Count

That's the "best case scenario" she decided to run with. Obama: 16,579,735, Clinton 16,466,237, for a lead of 113,498. Shooting distance, perhaps, and West Virginia will tighten that up considerably, but that's a giant fucking asterisk to have hanging over your statement.

Overall, if you consider the "neutral" scenario, where you give Obama the caucuses and give Clinton Florida (something I would still not agree with, but is a more acceptable compromise), Obama's up 552,029 votes. That's pretty insurmountable, barring total meltdown.

I think she has a good case here.... (sarcasm)

I'm not looking forward to tomorrow after her "big win" in the West Virginia primary and having all the Clinton folks bringing up the whole Obama is unelectable thing over and over.
