On topic, don't people know that someone who was not born in the US cannot become US president by law? Therefore, Obama would have to be American-born to run for president. Also, how could he be a US senator and not be able to recite the the pledge of allegiance? If a snotty straight F junior high school student can recite the pledge, I'd think a US senator running for president would be able to.

And where does the idea of him being muslim come from, especially with all this controversy about his pastor?

Don't want to call his mom an "idiot," but people who think such ridiculous things really do generally strike me as idiots.

No, it just felt like it was the direction things were heading, and instead of trying to steer the train back on course, I pulled it off the tracks. My bad.
