I still don't get why some people are so offended by agnostics, calling them fence-sitters or things like that. I'd consider myself an agnostic, and I'd consider myself anything but a fence-sitter. I'm very firm in my beliefs, and that belief is that we don't know anything, and I'm open to any ideas, without being so arrogant as to claim that what I think is 100% right, and everyone should think like me.

Look at the "Super Delegate" List. Many aren't much better. The whole concept of Super Delegates just cracks me up. The blue-flavor Republicrats (aka Democrat Party) tries to portray themselves as "The Party of the People", yet they created the Super Delegates because The DNC didn't like the "The People" actually having the final say as to who the presidential candidate would be. Add to that that this time around they've had multiple candidates write checks for multiple millions of dollars from their personal accounts to fund their campaigns, all the while claiming to be part of "The Middle Class".

All of this is just proof that when the southern states seceded all those years ago, we should have just let them go. Set up trade agreements, allow people to move freely between the countries, make it easy for the citizen of one to become the citizen of another instead, but just let them go. Just imagine: we would have never had to deal with Texas presidents and fundamentlist nut jobs. Of course, I would have moved out of Virginia just as soon as I was old enough.

Nice idea but I think you'd have been left with the political and religious equivalent of modern day Iraq where several factions continue to battle it out and re-draw territorial lines on an ever changing map of the country.
