He just had a shot to make things riight with his country, but instead sold his country out for personal power. Mugabe has been living well enough these last 28 years, even if his average countryman has not. I just hoope the next party doesn't make the same mistake.

President Robert Mugabe's government raided the offices of the main opposition movement and rounded up foreign journalists Thursday in an ominous indication that he may use intimidation and violence to keep his grip on power.

He's also evidently been spreading rumours that the opposition party is actually strongly divided, but somehow they're also all in the pocket of the BBC, and are trying to overthrow soverign Zimbabwian rule.
