I can see nothing better for our current fragile economy than driving up the price of electronics with frivolous lawsuits. Bravo!

Hmm, looks like alleged patent infringement to me, whether it is a frivolous/vexatious litigant case or not is yet to be shown.

But then the US Patent Office seems to be very keen to allow some pretty tenuous patents on ideas that are clearly NOT new (no pun intended)... like MicroSoft attempting to patent "IsNot". Perhaps you reap what you sow...

Meh, don't sweat it. It's not going to impact much IMO. If it holds up they'll come to a settlement.

I re-read the link and it seems that the government are investigating a potential patent infringement following a complaint from a patent holder, not that the government are suing anybody.
