Would not surprise me at all. She definitely has the "if I can't have the nomination, NO ONE CAN" mentality. If she can't be the nominee, she seems like she's going to make damned sure Obama doesn't win the presidency.

It would be potential suicide for her career in politics. She would totally piss of the Democrats and kill her standing in that party. I'm not sold she could retain her Senate seat as an independent. I know she can't win the White House as one.

I can't see a sane reason for her to run really.

She has no chance either way, and has wasted a lot of time, money, and effort, I'm sure at the expense of other people's livelihood.

No. I have faith that as much as she cares about her career and personal achievements, she would put the future of this country first and not risk fucking up the election and having a Republican candidate when the Democrats have a strong chance.

No way in hell, Samer. That argument is all conjecture, and honestly the political reality is if she, Obama and McCain all went head to head in a campaign, if we even assume for the sake of discussion that the woman who had to loan her campaign $5mm to get through the primaries thought she could take on the GOP and DNC coffers out of her own pocket, there's no denying that all she'd suceed in doing was to take just enough votes away from Obama so as to save Nader the trouble of having to defend accusations he cost Obama the election.

Thats not realistic politics - that's just "let's vilify Clinton." There's just no way she could even expect to have a longshot chance of beating both Obama and McCain, two politicians more polular than she is, in November. That's stupid.
