  | maybe he meant that the democrat party is not to be confused with a general democrat, and maybe you wrote something that seemed to oppose that? a democrat is someone who believes in that the people should select the ruler of a country (usually through votes and elections) and have the power in way even though a single person is "in charge", a republican wants to select the leader on competence rather than for example heritage (like a king) or religious status (like a high priest or whatever). in that way both republican party candidates and democrat party candidates are republicans as well as democrats, and maybe he was just picky on your definition in the sentence "unlike a democrat blabla" (wich in one way means ~ "unlike someone who wants elections").  Eat Shit. Billions of flies can't be wrong. |

| I think his teacher either a) made a spelling mistake on purpose to be a dick, or b) made it by accident, and is basically being flippant about the name of the party being the same as the name of a system of government. I'd ask him about it, and if the second answer is true, then be just as flippant back about confusing republicans with the Republican party. | So yeah, After I made him look at it again, He apologized and said it was a misspelling on his part. He meant to correct my capitalization and say "democrat is different than Democrat." He couldn't just ask me to watch my capitalization? |
