If the rest of the world would have it's way ...

... It looks like Ron Paul would be the next President of the U.S.A: Who Would The World Elect

The next closest was Senator Obama with less than 1/3 the votes of Senator Paul. Hillary was a distant third, with less than 1/3 the votes of Senator Obama.

The Ultimate Question: What string gauge is needed for 18.84# of tension when tuned to E2 on a 27" scale guitar?

This stinks of Ron Paul's cyber ninjas voting early and often.

Good thing we're not letting the rest of the world vote.

It's shame, they tend to be better informed about US politics than domestics. If you look at non-US news, Senator Paul is getting coverage that is actually fair, unlike the strawman arguments, omission of facts and pure FUD that gets reported in the US. Only in the US would you get non-governmental controlled media that was so blatantly biased and detached from reality (Fox News), that excluded him from the debates as a "nonviable" candidate, event hough he was polling better than and had a bigger champaign chest, etc. than Guiliani, who was included.

There's a very large number of Americans that agree with his smaller, less invasive, less wasteful, abide by the Constitution idea of government. It unfortunate that we allow the media to pre-filter the list of candidates for us. It's also a shame that we allows groups, mandates, laws, etc. that are supposed to be non-partisan to be merely bi-partisan and tolerate horrendously unfair voter access laws that all but guarantee that the Republicrats are the only ones on the ballot.

The flittering of news will only get worse as we get closer to November. Last time around, foreign news were the only ones mentioning the fact that the Green and Libertarian Party Candidates were preemptively arrested, thrown into jail hours before the debates and then released hours after with no charges being filed. Heck, the Bush crew has that done now on a regular basis when Bush speaks in public, do think that's going to be curtailed closer to the elections?

If you dig around in the forums, it looks like Obama had the lead back in 2007. So if that's the case, they didn't start as early as some.

There's definitely no apparent "security": I added votes for Senegal and Tunisia (supposedly you can only vote once), but the counts didn't update, so who knows what's happening behind the scenes. Also, if you look at the numbers, there's no way that Israel would have that many people in favor of a candidate that would not tolerate their hypocrisy and wants to cut essentially all foreign aid.

Ron Paul is an idealist and (dare I say?) a lunatic.

Some of his ideas are awesome and make sense, others are just crazy.

Terrible methodology for a survey. Non-representative sample, anyone?

If you listen to yesterday's BBC NewsPod, they just did the same thing, but Obama was overwhelmingly favored, except in Israel, where they wanted either Clinton or McCain.
