That's part of the problem, a major part, those people who are in that top percent, don't give a shit about anything but their own portfolios.

I was listening to Jay Severin, on the way home the other night, and he was
vomiting up such elitist crap about the middle class etc in this country.

he was going on about how so many people in this country always "cried" about how they couldn't afford a house", so "We", get it "we", give them the opportunity and now they can't make their payments and "we" have to bail them out. He doesn't talk about how "we' forged documents and lied on applications and how "we" approved loans that should not have been approved, so 'we" could make more commissions.
When a 50 year old woman applys for a mortgage, is blatantly lied too, and has her documents forged and altered by the lender so they can make more money, and stick her in a loan that she has no business being in, and then is abandoned because "she couldn't handle it"? what do we do with that?

This is why I take savage glee in the misfortunes of guys like (former) Senator Larry Craig. This ass clown--no, literally, he is a clown who likes getting it in the ass, which makes him an ass clown--tries to tell everyone exactly how they should live, since he knows best, and then gets caught picking up men in a airport bathroom. How perfect is that? The media posted his mugshot everywhere, the whole country laughed at him, his own state turned their backs on him, Mitt Romney canned him, and the entire GOP hung him out to dry. The one group that could give him support--the gay/lesbian/bisexual community--is the one group he most alienated with his pointless morality crusade. I love seeing poetic justice come to its awful fruition. I took great pleasure in watching his life destroyed. No amount of tapping your feet will take you out of Oz now, Dorthy.

I'm fine with seeing every crooked CEO lose everything. This country needs some serious wealth redistribution. People work their ass off and never get what they deserve, while some never work and get everything they don't deserve. All the past 25 years or so has done is just manifested that.
