The best thing about this, as is the case with all of these 'may offend [non-native ethnic group]' situations, is that this bullshit is pre-emptive action; it may offend the Muslim population. Surely that in itself is insulting them as it implies that they're all wholly intolerant of our culture and traditions

The same thing happened a few years ago with one local council renaming it's town centre's Christmas lights display in such a way that it completely removed all reference to Christmas and Christianity, for same reason; I forget what the changed it to, but it was entirely berkish. Honestly, I don't know what the hell is wrong with this country...

No one would have noticed in the first place if it wasn't for up tight assholes on the political correctness vendetta against life.

I don't see any culture doing things to not offend me, the long haired metalhead. Has it occurred to them that the whole political correctness thing is politically correct? They're worrying so hard about what might offend people that they end up offending them in other ways instead.

OK, so nobody's suggesting anybody (human...let alone Muslim) actually EAT the pigs in that story and none of the pigs are named "Mohammed", so I really don't see the problem.
